NEW EFFECTS PEDAL MONTHPublished May 23 by Daniel Moss.
While not all of these are brand new releases, some of them have taken a little while to make their way to our little corner of the world. Because of this it's felt like every other day a new pedal that we haven't seen in the store before has arrived. So... here's a little sneak peak at what we now have available!
EARTHQUAKER DEVICES ERUPTER FUZZ
While some of them aren't as new as others - this one right here is hot of the press. We had one in store the same day it was released globally about a week and a half ago. This is a super simple one-knob (bias) setup that utilizes NOS Silicon transistors to create a classic fuzz tone with a big low end (but not too mushy), a biting top end without being too harsh, and just enough output to politely send a tube amp over the top. More info right here.
DEATH BY AUDIO EVIL FILTER
You would be hard pressed to find a better looking pedal than this one here. Good thing it sounds amazing as well. Low Pass/Band Pass/High Pass filter with a built in fuzz. Can be pushed past the limit to glitch out into octaves up, down, and envelope folds. Sounds amazing on pretty much anything including but not limited to guitar, bass, synth and amplified skateboard.
WALRUS AUDIO MONUMENT HARMONIC TREMOLO
Amazingly versatile tremolo from Walrus Audio. It includes both harmonic and standard modes as well as tap tempo control (with subdivision control) and shape control - with included random mode. So yeah, it does a lot. But it also sounds really damn good!
WAY HUGE RUSSIAN PICKLE FUZZ
An ode to one of the all time classic fuzz pedals. The Russian Big Muff has been used by countless artists on countless records, known for its full low end but clear midrange that was able to cut through. With an iconic pedal of their own in the Swollen Pickle, the Russian Pickle is Way Huge's version of one of the greats.
DEATH BY AUDIO MICRO DREAM DELAY
The little sibling of Death By Audio's famed Echo dream delay. This time without all the bells and whistles, just a super syrupy sounding delay with all the mayhem and vapor trails you want. Internal trimmer can be adjusted to fine tune the feedback point before chaos ensues.
EARTHQUAKER DEVICES SPACE SPIRAL DELAY
This is one from earlier in the year, but we've been a bit slack on the blog front so we'll include. That and because this pedal rules. It's a dark and dreamy delay with heaps of lo-fi modulated goodness.
