Two of our favourite pedal manufacturers have just had some new releases. Brooklyn, New York's Death By Audio have just released the Waverformer Destroyer. Designed to be controlled by four footswitches: Engage, Filter, Boost and Blast as well as internal dipswitches that allow a set and forget type mentality towards different drive and distortion combinations. An awesome approach so that you can instantly recall the exact setting you had for the stage or studio. Here's what DBA have to say on the pedal:
8 Different internally customizable distortions selectable by a combination of 4 foot switches. Once selected via internal DIP switches the fuzz's are always the same so you can go back time and time again on your favorite fuzz sounds. This gives you a ton of fuzz, overdrive, distortion sounds you will become addicted to.
We're expecting these into the store next month. You can preorder the Waveformer Destroyer here.
Next up we have the Levitation Reverb from Akron, Ohio's Earthquaker Devices. EQD designed this pedal in conjunction with Levitation Festival (originally known as Austin Psych Fest). The Levitation is a take on their popular Ghost Echo Reverb but has changed up the controls to give you more flexibility on controlling the length, time, decay and more. Its a vintage style verb that can fluctuate between a spring, plate and chamber style reverb depending on where its set. Here's what Earthquaker Devices have to say on the pedal:

Introducing the Levitation reverb, a pedal designed by EarthQuaker Devices in conjunction with the LEVITATION music festival! LEVITATION, founded as Austin Psych Fest in 2008, has become a way to honor and preserve Austin's psychedelic rock heritage, and carry it into the future. We wanted to remain true to the theme ofLEVITATION and decided to do a variation on our popular Ghost Echo pedal to honor the reverb-drenched tones synonymous with classic psych rock. The Levitation Reverb builds on the base sound found in the Ghost Echo but does away with the attack and dwell and adds control over tone, decay, atmosphere and length in their place. It is a vintage voiced reverb that aims to fit somewhere between dirty sixties chambers, classic spring, and the big, ringing plate reverbs of days gone by.

Four knobs and one switch control quite a bit more than you'd expect. Want a slap back small room sound? Set all of your controls to the minimum and use the mix to dial in the sound of room devoid of anything but a guitar and amp. Want to revel in infinite spatial oscillations? Flip the toggle to long, turn up the atmosphere and decay then tune out. Dial in a bright chiming slap back by turning the tone all the way counter clockwise and reducing the decay. For a rattling, full-bandwidth assault, dime everything and let 'er rip.

We're expecting the Levitation Reverb pedal into stock in the next couple of weeks. You can preorder one here.
