The groundbreaking Roland VH-14D Digital Hi-Hat Cymbal launches the electronic hi-hat into a new universe of playability. It offers touch sensitivity, tonal variation and an open/closed resolution that’s never been available until now. The two-piece design and thin 14-inch pads provide a familiar look and natural feel. The high-resolution, multi-sensor system that tracks velocity, stick position and foot work with maximum precision. Foot splashes are reproduced authentically and you can even mute the cymbals with a hand touch, just like acoustic hi-hats.

Roland’s digital pads elevate electronic drumming to the next level. Working in harmony with high-speed processing in supported V-Drums sound modules to provide the ultimate expressive experience which captures the most subtle playing nuances with astonishing detail and definition. Roland’s digital pads bring electronic drums to life like never before.

The Roland VH-14D Digital Hi-Hat Cymbal is the perfect complement to the PD-140S digital snare and CY-18DR digital ride. It brings Roland’s powerful digital advantages to the three most nuanced pieces in your kit.

For the most expressive Roland VH-14D Digital Hi-Hat Cymbal experience, you’ll want to use it with the flagship TD-50X sound module or a TD-50 module with the TD-50X upgrade installed. These modules include new sounds that are fully optimized for the VH-14D. Standard TD-50 and TD-27 modules are also compatible with the VH-14D via a free system update which provides support for the VH-14D’s enhanced detection capabilities however no new sounds are included.

Roland products are covered by a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

Although we are not authorised to determine if any repair is covered under warranty, if the item was purchased through World of Music, then we are often the best people to facilitate the claim for you and will do so as timely as possible. Warranty does not apply to cosmetic damage or faults that are a result of user neglect. Although your mate is really handy with a soldering iron, any product modification or home repair will also result in a void warranty.

Quite often, something perceived as a fault is as simple as a faulty cable or power issue so we always suggest checking over Frequently Asked Questions on the manufacturer website first. It can be a helpful approach to getting to the bottom of a problem and save you a lot of time in getting your gear back up and running!

Roland products ship via courier from either our Melbourne store or Roland’s warehouse in Sydney; fully insured for your peace of mind. Orders require a signature on delivery and we suggest using an address where someone will be present for the speediest delivery time. For delivery attempts with no one present to sign, your order will be taken to the courier depot and a card will be left for you to organise redelivery.
