The Paige Original Series Smokey Black Capo is designed for 12-string acoustic guitars, featuring a standard profile and direct centre-tension design for even pressure, clean tone, and buzz-free performance.

This P-12-E capo shares the same frame as the Paige P-6E-W (Wide Capo) but is specially equipped with thicker, softer tubing to compensate for the height differences in octave pairs (E, A, D, G). This reduces the need for excess pressure, helping to prevent detuning and eliminate string buzz.

Its ultra-thin design allows for quick, easy movement along the neck, while controllable tension ensures proper pressure on all 12 strings. The felt on the saddle is secured with shrink tube to enhance durability, ensuring better contact with the strings for a more consistent, buzz-free sound.
