Fender American Professional Classic Mustang Bass – Vintage Cool, Modern Punch
The American Professional Classic Mustang Bass brings together the iconic style of the 1970s with modern performance features that suit today’s player. Equipped with a Coastline ‘70s Mustang split-coil pickup, this short-scale bass delivers rich, focused tone with punch and clarity across the frequency spectrum—ideal for tight grooves and bold melodic lines.
Its alder body is finished in gloss urethane and paired with a fast Modern “C”-shaped neck and 9.5″ fingerboard radius for smooth, comfortable playability. Medium jumbo frets allow for expressive bends and articulate finger-work without sacrificing vintage feel.
Classic Fender “lollipop” tuners bring a touch of retro charm while ensuring solid tuning reliability on stage or in the studio. The Greasebucket tone system lets you cut highs without muddying your sound—perfect for dialling in the right tone without losing clarity.

Fender guitars and amps are covered by a 2 year manufacturer warranty. Amp tubes are covered for 90 days by manufacturer warranty.
Although we are not authorised to determine if any repair is covered under warranty, if the item was purchased through World of Music, then we are often the best people to facilitate the claim for you and will do so as timely as possible. Warranty does not apply to cosmetic damage or faults that are a result of user neglect. Although your mate is really handy with a soldering iron, any product modification or home repair will also result in a void warranty.

This item ships via courier; fully insured for your peace of mind. Orders require a signature on delivery and we suggest using an address where someone will be present for the speediest delivery time. For delivery attempts with no one present to sign, your order will be taken to the courier depot and a card will be left for you to organise redelivery.
