The dual-stage gain circuit features a discrete design with carefully selected components. This provides premium tones with increased clarity. The EQ has been refined as well, with a smoother midrange tone and unique Q values specially tuned for the pedal’s Standard and Custom modes.

Custom Mode: Wide and Tight

Engaging the Boss MT-2W’s Custom mode voices the pedal for a huge, wide-ranging sound. This makes it ideal for nearly any current heavy style. The tone is natural and open, with increased dynamics and rounder lower mids than Standard mode. Even at the highest gain settings, the low end remains full yet tight, focused, and well-defined therefore perfect for chugging out low-tuned riffs. The sound cleans up very nicely when reducing your guitar’s volume and puts an extremely well balanced range of tones under your fingers.

Although we are not authorised to determine if any repair is covered under warranty, if the item was purchased through World of Music, then we are often the best people to facilitate the claim for you and will do so as timely as possible. Roland products ship via courier from either our Melbourne store or Roland’s warehouse in Sydney; fully insured for your peace of mind. Orders require a signature on delivery and we suggest using an address where someone will be present for the speediest delivery time.
