Music lessons are conducted on high quality musical equipment, with the latest technology incorporated. Students at World of Music will receive a well-balanced music education through our programs. We endeavour to keep fun and performance as a high priority with a healthy level of theory and technique development ticking along at the same time.

We run music school concerts which include different band programs at no extra charge. This allows our students to participate in ensemble and performance environments to build both confidence and performance skills. The band program is at no extra charge and enables students to take what they have learned in their lessons even further. Students will be able to build experience in a band environment amongst other students in their age group. The bands are coached by one of our teachers who helps guide them through rehearsals and how to work together. This culminates in a performance at the school concert to an audience of friends and family.

Our teachers also bring a huge amount of experience in recording, song-writing and performing professionally on tours, in clubs and pubs, musical theatre companies and other venues. We have a diverse range of teachers that have worked or are currently working as recording artists and songwriters, national and internationally touring musicians, music technology designers and developers, special education teachers, film and TV live performers and composers amongst other endeavours. With our broad range of teachers we’re very confident of finding the right fit for any student’s needs.

Our music lessons are private and priced at $37 per ½ hour and are booked in a term that coincides with the public school system. This allows students on average a 10 week term with two weeks break in between and longer at Christmas. We also offer family discounts of 10% on every extra student in the family and lessons are able to be shared with a parent, sibling or friend when appropriate.
