Australia 2025 Limited Edition Fender Custom Shop 1951 Nocaster Heavy Relic The Fender Custom Shop presents the Australia 2025 Limited Edition 1951 Nocaster Heavy Relic in a Super Faded Aged Nocaster Blonde finish. Presented at the 2025 Fender Custom Shop Australian mid-year show, this Nocaster features all of the markings of a true piece of Fender history. In 1951, while Leo Fender dealt with the "Broadcaster/Broadkaster" legal case against Gretsch drums, he produced guitars without a model name. He cut the model name from the Fender decal, leaving only “Fender” on the headstock. Players later nicknamed this short run of instruments “Nocasters” because of the missing model designation.
